My Dad and Me
Kaleb took this picture a couple weeks ago.
It seems the feed on this may be a bit messed up. If instead of these words you get a bunch of code please email me. Of course if you can’t see the words you won’t know thats what I’m saying. . . dilema. How bout this if you can see this please comment.
Love ya guys!
I let my domain name expire. Sorry bout that, we’re back now though. Well, what was here is back. . . still no time to write.
Love ya!
Oh, and thanks for missing me.
:)
Let’s imagine for a little while that I was still a blogger. Pretend their is no awkward silence keeping me from writing the menial happenings of my day.
If I were still a blogger I’d share my new love of fresh ginger and how it treats everything from nausea to joint pain; from allergies to flatulence. You really did want to know that, didn’t you? I’d tell you of my journey to the perfectly brewed mint/ginger/lemon balm tea. mmmmm tasty delicious.
After I told you of my dreams of becoming that slightly off smelling lady who wears the funky dresses and serves up odd teas to treat the neighborhood ailments then I’d move on to my newest non-dairy fudge frosting recipe. mmmm Even more tasty and delicious.
Then I could throw in a mommy post and tell you Charleigh got second place in the obstacle course or I could brag about Kaleb speaking in church a few weeks ago, or maybe tell you about Joshua’s latest cuteness. Maybe I could share the drama that ensued when the frog lost his toe. That was a good one.
I could offer Sami a belated birthday or tell Moriah thanks for the mother’s day card.
I could show you pictures from our visit to Wonderland Park and tell you all about our family getting to be in the new commercial.
I could write in detail the grueling steps of making an offer on a house today.
Maybe I could brag about how our small group is growing exponentially and is not only not small but quite large indeed.
I could tell you about the awesome things God is doing in our family/ church/ community/ world.
Perhaps I could link you to some great blogs or maybe bash Vista for a while.
I could tell you how I really believe that God made Sweet Basil just because he loves me.
I could write all kinds of things from the thought provoking to the mundane, from the humorous to the “who really cares” .
If I was a blogger I could write all those things.
But I honestly don’t care to blog any more. . .my domain name comes due for renewal in 7 days. I’m thinking about letting it go. I owe Amy for two years of hosting. I’m thinking about shutting it down. There is simply too much going on out here in the real world to take the time to come up with grammatically correct, properly written, generally quite trivial updates. As you can see from the lines above, I’m just not interested in editing and coding. In fact I’m going to post this ramble right now, just as it is.

Hurry Grandpa! Hurry!
While enjoying a nice dinner outside the kids quickly found themselves on top of the table.

This is what they’d found

A little over a week later, another unwelcome friend found his way to our front porch.
Here he is as we wait for Grandpa to rescue us again.

These aren’t our first snake adventures, here are a few from last year:
Fried Modem and Slithering Snakes
Oatmeal cookies and Ophidophobia
