Yeah! I got my red dress pin today! Actual I got two, Nae you’ll be getting the other one. The red dress is to raise awareness of women’s #1 killer- Heart Disease. While the pin is suppose to symbolize “women’s power over this devastating disease”
I really wanted it because it is so cute!
To get your own pin or to learn more about the “Go Red Movement” sign up at the
American Heart Association’s Website.
I love this! The kids found this site and shared it with me. You get to visit Mr. Rogers’ house. You can go to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and visit Prince Tuesday, Lady Elaine Fairchild and all their friends. Even Picture Picture works, you can click and watch how to make crayons. Go to the kitchen and feed the fish and find all kinds of fun activities. Mr McFeely or Queen Sarah Saturday will read you a book. fun Fun FUN! There is a song list, where you can listen to favorite songs from the show. If you grew up in watching Mr. Rogers you have got to check this out!
(It is interesting that the kids found this site on the same day that I wrote about missing Mr. Rogers, I hadn’t even mentioned it and they haven’t seen the show in years. Hmmm.)
