Since we’re talking about happy things here is a quick and easy way to add a little happiness to your day.

16 0z Sour Cream I like DaisyLight

1 loosly packed cup finely chopped cilantro. (Everything is better with cilantro. Not to mention you can get a whole bunch of it at United for 33cents)

One Medium sized Lime. (Do not substitute bottled lime juice. Listen to me please, I’m begging you!)

Mix sour cream and cilantro, add a good squeeze of your lime and stir it up. Done.
Add a dollup to anything you find (tacos, omelletes, burgers, chips, chicken, fajitas, rice) and a smile will come to your face. Not only is it quite tasty but it adds a pretty little ta-da as well.
Mmmmmmmm. Love it!

Replace the lime juice with lime zest, it’s tastier and keeps better in the fridge.

  1. WOW. This sounds fantabulous! I can’t wait to try it!

*Life* is better with cilantro…I do hope God has it in Heaven…

  2. This is great, thanks for the idea! I have half of container of sour cream, and also a (really really old looking) lime I need to get rid of. AND I have cilantro in the garden!

Hmmm… now I need to find something to put it on. I’m thinking grilled chicken…

  3. Oh how I wish I had cilantro in the garden, or even a garden for that matter.

  4. Baja style baby!! Cook up some spicy rice, add your faves like fajita, grilled chicken, or seafood, and add cabbage, fresh green onions, and make into a wrap! Drizzle the sauce enough to cover the burrito, and plate! Walaaahhhh! Love baja baby!!

God Bless the Savior who will bring us to him in his kingdom.

Until then enjoy your time here!
