Another night has arrived. This night my 3 yr old wears a winter hat under the pillow case that wraps around his head. We must keep “the green” from going in our heads. We must cover our ears and mouth whenever it is dark.

What is “the green”?!?
Will Joshua be wearing ear muffs on his honeymoon?
What do I do?

Thank God he hasn’t thought about the holes in his nose. I don’t want to see what he would stuff up his nose in order to keep the “green” out.

Oh yeah, an update on Charleigh for you. She will be getting tubes in her ears next Thursday.
Plurdlurp. . .Yep this has been a Plurdlurp day.

I would have thought by now with all my kids being 3yrs or older I would be able to sleep through the night. Apparently that is not the case.

At 1:00 Charleigh woke me up. Her ear was hurting terribly. Ugg. We are going to the ENT doctor today and we were excited because her hearing seems to be much better, we were in hopes that she would not need tubes. I’m not sure how her current ear infection is going to influence the decision but I don’t think its a good sign. Around 2:oo the medicine started to work and she settled back to bed.

At 2:30 I woke up and found Joshua in bed next to me, he was pulling my CPAP mask off my face and asking me to hold his ears. Great! I thought he must be having ear problems too. I got up and took him into the bathroom in which I found that the reason he needed me to cover his ears was that he was trying to cover his mouth. He had apparently had some kind of dream in which something “green” was trying to get in his head. I tried with no success to convince him that nothing was going to crawl in his ear. He then insisted on wrapping his pillow case arround his ears and mouth and slept like that for the rest of the night. This morning he kept it on till the sun came up then said he would be safe from the “green” till later.

Now we’re off to the doctor, please pray for Charleigh’s ears and that Joshua will sleep tonight with out the pillow case on his head.

Love ya!
