My 5yr old asks:

“Why do teenagers think they are grown ups?”

It won’t be long before I’ll be asking that question myself.

“And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!’
He chortled in his joy.”

jab·ber·wock·y
n.
Nonsensical speech or writing.

It appears that the Jabberwock is in fact not dead but alive and well. Just watch the news and you’ll see him burbling there before your very eyes.

“If horse manure were music, that would be a symphony”

Quote heard on Fox News in response to the racially charged accusations stating that the government created this disaster in an attempt to gain control of and persecute Blacks. These accusations in themselves are racially and politically biased, not to mention blatant idiocy.

In case you were worried:
My motherly interrogation skills determined that the “green” is also “sticky, yucky, and trashy”. After a great deal of prayer and effort Kurt and I convinced Joshua that there was no “green” in our house and he would be safe without his hat and pillowcase. He happily went to bed without his covering. Whooo!

A couple hours later he awoke screaming . . .again. This time he was yelling “Don’t take my Ethan!” (Ethan is his little cousin, 10months younger) He quickly quieted down and went back to sleep. My sleep did not return so easily. I lay there wondering, “What was getting Ethan? Was it the Green?”

WOW! This post is now officially categorized under the “Yuck” category. While typing this I was holding Joshua on my lap. He turned and looked directly at me to tell me something. Instead of words coming out he just threw up all over me!

The joys of motherhood . . .
