Ok, after all the financial drama and woe. I realized the cause of my lack of cash flow.
Upon receipt of each paycheck I immediately transfer a minute amount to a certain unused savings account. I transfer that over because if I don’t have activity in that account I will be charged a monthly fee. Knowing I had a mere $10 in it I clicked on over thinking that small amount would be quite helpful in these tight few days. To my surprise and joy I found that in error I had sent an extra $100 over last week.
Ah ha! Whoo Hoo! Yip Yeah!
I get to pay the water bill on time tomorrow instead of accruing the $6 charge I would have gotten for being 2 days late.
I can now purchase some facial tissues to wipe my babies noses. (Ours was all used up for other more pressing uses)
I could get some paper napkins to wipe their little fingers at dinnertime. (Yes, even the napkins had fallen to a sad fate)
Oh! Oh, I could possibly purchase some paper towels too! (Yes even the paper towels)

What about the Sears catalog and old corn cobs?

Oh, you are a funny one!

That so sounds like something I would do. Except I wouldn’t figure it out and my children would have to go without the tissue!
