Robin emailed and asked if I could get the kids to tell me what they are most thankful for. She plans on including it in the church news letter.

I asked each child seperately in order to keep Kaleb from influencing the other kids’ answers. (he tends to do that)

I asked Kaleb and Charleigh: “What are you most thankful for?”

Kaleb: I am most thankful that Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins and that God is the greatest person in the universe.

Charleigh: What I am most thankful for is that God gave Jesus to everybody and not just somebodies and I am thankful for good friends and that I got to go to the pumpkin patch.

I asked Joshua: “What makes you happiest? What is your favorite thing God gives you?”

Joshua: God gave me a Abbye friend, a mom and a dad and I really like to drink milk with straws.

  1. Straws are good. You can blow bubbles in your milk.

  2. Well…since “God gave [Joshua] a Abbye friend” maybe God could keep Joshua close to Abbye and Jami close to Sarah! That would be great!!

  3. I agree with Sarah.
