Over the last month I have been on the receiving end of many random acts of kindness
Anonymous:
We received an anonymous gift of $50, what a blessing! Over the years we have received many anonymous gifts. In the beginning it would nearly drive me crazy thinking about who may have sent the gift. Over the years though I have realized that no gifts are really anonymous each one comes from my God, my provider. Thank you to whoever sent the gift, it arrived at the perfect time to meet a very specific need.
Moriah:
Last Saturday I found in my mailbox a package from my dear old friend Moriah. To my surprise she had sent both Charleigh and I personalized Italian charm bracelets. What Fun! It made my day, maybe even my week. My bracelet was personalized with links representing each child with their first and middle names as well as their birthdates. There were also links with each child’s birthstone as well as a link with Kurt and my names and the date of our marriage. So special! Charleigh’s bracelet came with her name spelled out in gold and with fun character links. Thank you Moriah.
Janae:
I never did get to update you on Charleigh’s last Dr visit. While waiting to get in and see Dr Kennedy and wishing I had gotten a babysitter for Joshua I thought to myself how nice it would be if Janae didn’t have to work, if she could just show up and offer to watch him while we were in the office. Not 2 minutes later in she walked right into the waiting room. Happy happy happy! Later she commented on how I didn’t even look surprised when she came in, I guess I wasn’t surprised. God always takes care of everything. Thanks Nae.
Later while checking out at Wal-Mart I realized I had forgotten my wallet in the van, there she was to bail me out. Thanks Nae.
After eating lunch with us Janae offered to take Joshua while we went to our next appointment at the audiologist, she then told me to go ahead and take Charleigh shopping before picking him up. Thanks Nae.
Aunt DeeDee:
Thursday we had a Worship Conference in town with Crea8tive, Wednesday I still had not gotten a babysitter. After arriving home from “Granna Anna Night” at church the phone rang and it was my Aunt DeeDee asking if I needed a sitter for the following night. Thanks Aunt DeeDee
Julie:
We had a banquet last week and I had once again forgotten to get a babysitter, as soon as I realized my predicament and began to think of people to call the phone rang and Julie informed me she would be taking care of the kids for me. Thanks Sis.
Sarah and Sami:
These two have blessed me so often this last month I can’t think of any specific events. Sarah sent me a beautiful card out of the blue and her phone calls always arrive at the right time. Sami seems to bail me out of all kinds of situations all the time; she also calls at just the right time. This past week she took me on a wild road trip searching for a pumpkin patch.
