Somersault
I’m late, I’m late for a very important date.
No time to say hello, good-bye, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late
Baking, Memorials, Packing, Christmas, Moving, Painting, Shopping, Cleaning, Tamale Making, Driving, Crying, Wrapping, Laughing, Calling, Eating, Missing:
No time for blogging. But I still love you.
In honor of my upcoming move to the country and the present inhabitants of my new home. I have chosen to share Chocolate Mice of Everything and Nothing from this week’s Carnival of the Recipes

Bill Bell
When your days of life is ended.
And the path no more you trod.
May your name in gold be written,
In the autograph of God.”
-Mitch E. Bell (My Great Great Grandfather)

I’ve too many tears to come up with something to write about my Grandfather. Maybe later, right now I’m headed over to spend some time with my family.
Thanks for the prayers.
Amy did have some things to say though.

(Thanks for the pics)
Happy Birthday Sarah!!
FYI to other readers, this is the cup Joshua picked out for Sarah for her Birthday. He was quite impressed with it and had to point it out to all the other shoppers. He said it was the best best bestest present he ever sa
w. While Abbye agreed I’m not sure the rest of us did.
This is the picture we’ll be sending out this year. To see pictures from past years go to my recent Christmas Photo Post
The Carnival of Recipes was posted Saturday at Dubious Wonder. The theme this week is Gifts from the Kitchen. While my contribution was Chocolate Crinkles I’ve picked out a few gifts from the Carnival for some of you.
For my dear Kurt I give you a Tourtierre
To Amy the United States Military Academy Fajitas
One of Dad’s old favorites : Snickerdoodles
Viennese Crescents for Mom
Julie, I give you Jingle Balls In fact you should share the joy of making them with my kids sometime. (Just don’t share the sophmoric humor that comes with the recipe.) No offense to Christine at Morning Coffee & Afternoon Tea
Last but not least, we know how much Janae LOVES Butter Cream Frosting
Joshua loves the Berenstain Bears. Sister, Brother, Mama and Papa Bear are his favorite
bears people. For the last two weeks he has talked of little else. When asked what he wants for Christmas he
either answers “new Big Ears” (so he can wiggle them like his Grandpa Wingert) or for a Berenstain Bear book. Kaleb checked one out from the library last week and Joshua carried it around for at least 4 days. He even took it to bed with him at night.
Charleigh and I found the official Berenstain Website and were impressed with the various features and games.
You can print out coloring books, make paper dolls, solve mysteries, watch videos or read a story.
This site is definitely being added to our “kid friendly” site list.
The kids love the fun characters and I love the family values. So Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, and Uncles if you’re looking for ideas for Christmas gifts here’s one that will only set you back about $3.25
