This
weeks Recipe Carnival theme is "Gifts from the Kitchen".

Chances are if you’ve ever received a home baked gift from this house you
received these cookies.  For those Cyber friends out there who won’t be
receiving any  goodies from me I give you this recipe which I stole from my
dear friend Betty Crocker.

 2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 ounces Ghirardelli unsweetened chocolate (cool)
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
24 servings 6 cookies
4 hours 30 minutes 30 mins prep

1. Mix sugar, oil chocolate and vanilla in large bowl.
2. Mix in eggs, one at a time.
3. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
4. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or more.
5. Preheat oven to 350.
6. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. (I prefer using a small
cookie scoop).
7. Roll in powdered sugar.
8. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
9. Bake 10-12 minutes.
10. Tip: Serve while warm for a special treat or allow to cool and wrap for
gifts.

You can submit your recipes to  recipe-dot-carnival-at-neversendspam-gmail-dot-c0m.
