The crazy characters came home completely coo-coo. I got them all to hold still all of 5 seconds to get this shot.

Joshua came running into the Dining Room:
“Mommy, Mommy! I found an Angry Lady Bug! Come fast. Bring your camera!”
At first I wasn’t sure what exactly made him think the bug was angry. I took a picture anyway:
Upon closer inspection I realized that although no longer living the lady bug did in fact look quite angry.

Quick note for those who care.
This morning I prayed we would get our W2 and that I would be able to quickly and smoothly do our taxes very soon. Not one hour later Kurt called and told me we had received it.
I started and completed the entire return before noon. I have now e-filed and am waiting for my happy return.
How do you spell relief? T-U-R-B-O-T-A-X
Mmmm I’ve missed my tasty trips to the Carnival of the Recipes.
I finally got a moment to visit this week. Christine at Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea hosted and did a FABULOUSO job! Thanks Christine!
With a coffee and tea theme, Amy you have got to get over there for a look!
Yum!
By Charleigh- age 6
By Kaleb- age 7
Kaleb and Charleigh have decided to give Illustration Friday a try. You should too.
Joshua made friends with one of our new neighbors. After an exciting pursuit this wild little kitten was finally captured and named. What did my 3 yr old name his new chum?
Snickerdoodle Carburator Paint.
“Carburator ?!?” You ask. Well don’t ask me, I have no idea where he came up with it. I asked him if he even knew what a carburator was and he assured me it was something that went in a car.
While some of us have shortened the name to Snickerdoodle Joshua continues to call him by his full name. To those of you wondering Snickerdoodle does not tolerate Joshua’s antics as well as “Mouse” does.
“Children, hurry and go upstairs and brush your hair before we take pictures.”
It seemed to me a reasonably age appropriate request for my 6 and 7 year olds. 10 minutes later they had yet to reappear. “Kids, hurry up and comb your hair and get down here!” I yelled up. “We’re working on it” they called down. “What’s taking so long?” I hollered upwards. “We can’t get the stuff to stick” they bellowed downwards. “What stuff?!?” I queried as I made the climb to second floor. I walked into the bathroom and found a montage of hair spray, hair gel, hair paste, hair wax and yes, even shaving cream. “Why?, Why?” I asked. They looked up with gooey heads of not nearly picture perfect hair and replied. “Sometimes we don’t know why”.
and goes and goes. It seems life has yet to slow down.
The large items are now in our new house. Most of our belongings remain in town. I’ll be there tomorrow working on packing things up.
The kids are loving there new school! Within two days Charleigh was reading like a pro and her handwriting has improved tremendously. Kaleb is also doing well and making lots of friends.
We are getting up much earlier now. Kurt leaves at 6:45 and I drive the kids to the bus at 7:10 We’ve been having some interesting breakfast creations which I’ll have to share with you when things slow down. Or at least when I decide to sit down for a minute.
Joshua is more entertaining each day, my new camera which I have yet to tell you about also takes video. Some day soon I’ll share with you one of his great selfmade movies.
I’m posting this list of things I’d like to share so that later I can google for it and remember what I wanted to tell you about.

Oh yeah, and I mailed off my laptop and have yet to hear anything from her. I hope she’s ok. Speaking of mailing things off I haven’t heard anything from my CPap either. GRrrrrr.
I finished reading Jeremiah, whew that was a long one!
I miss you all and I hope to talk to you soon. If you know me and I haven’t given you my new contact info just let me know through the contact form and I’ll get it to you.
With Love, Jami Leigh
