P-Jami, here, again. :-)
I was reading about the Samaritan woman at the well, last night. I love how the Bible shows how compassionate Jesus is to women. He knew her sin, and used it to show her how much she needed forgiveness, but he did it in a loving manner. She was a Samaritan, hated by the Jews, and a woman, as well. It's easy to put labels on people, sometimes, consider them unworthy of God's love. What I think this story shows is how the love of Jesus changes lives. People are not only saved, but wrapped in love. I like that.

I just saw this, Jami. Sorry for the delay! Thanks for asking me, even when you didn't know I was reading in John, too. I'm reading there because of your example, I might add. I'm behind, but it's nice to know we're in the same general area of the Bible, studying (kind of) together. Yay! I'll write you more in a bit. :-) /hugs
