Joy.

My babies are sick and Kurt called and said he’s cutting his trip short. He’s sick too.

Joy. I choose joy. Thank you God that you have given me a husband and children to take care of!

Please pray for their health. Joshua has had high fevers for the last few days.

On another note, but still relating to “Joy”, I made a Gorgonzola sauce last night. Fabulous! I’ll share the recipe soon.

P-Jami had a little game on her blog.  I changed it up a bit and here are
the rules.
I chose 7 friends and picked a random phrase or word that came to mind
then googled for images.  These are the ones that came up.  See if you
can find yours:

Here’s who’s playing: Amy, Sheila, Sami, Sarah, Janae, Julie, Nicole, (Oh, and two
of you have an extra one to share)

Pink Hat
CookieMonster Stare
F-R-E-D
Are we Lost?
Look, Red Dirt! I hate Red dirt
Seasons
Cry over Spilled Milk
Space Camp

I found a more appropriate pic for Sami:
Pupkin Patch?

Bobby Duby Did it Again

Van Dancer

Well, maybe I’ve got to stop blaiming the Bobby Duby commercials for Joshua’s van dancing.

This is his first time up there in some time, you’ll remember me talking about it in these pasts posts:

First in Just Joshua and next in
Bobby Duby Sold it to Me

Why, you ask, did I take this picture? Well folks, sometimes you’ve just got to “document life”.

. . .and NO it is not ok to dance on Mommy’s minivan. Not then, not now, not ever.

Happy Birthday Janae!

Filed under: Family and Friends — Posted by Jami Leigh at 8:05 am on Friday, March 17, 2006

My dear friend is 29 today. Still young yet.

Have a happy happy day. We love you!

My kids woke up singing happy birthday to Janae. “It’s Nae day!” Kaleb yelled as he put on his green shirt. Yep my kids think we wear green in honor of Aunt Nae Nae.

Oh, what would we do with out Nae? We’ve been friends for 14 years now. Can that possibly right?

Our House

Filed under: Photos — Posted by Jami Leigh at 11:40 am on Wednesday, March 15, 2006

I’ve been asked by many where our house was in relation to the fires on Friday. The house on the left side of the picture is ours. I’m not sure what time it was taken. Throught out the day I don’t think the fire got closer than two miles from us. Thank God!

That particular fire traveled over 20 miles and lasted for hours on Friday before they were able to put it out. Even Saturday and Sunday hotspots were still starting up again.

The fires starting Sunday were farther South. Today the wind is up again and with it comes the danger of more fires, please continue to pray.

Happy Birthday Joyce Speer!
