Camping under a built in shelf he hid safely from the cat. Poor cat hit his head twice last night trying to catch it. This morning I woke to find where the little booger had been chewing my desk up. Grrrr. After a bit of detective work and planning I came up with the perfect location for my newly purchased high fangled trap. I set it before we left for church and yes I admit I said a little prayer as I spread the peanut butter on.
I arrived home this evening and was thrilled to find my new and improved trap had worked. WHooHoo! I’m proud to say I emptied the trap and disposed of the rodent all by myself. ALL BY MYSELF! If any of you are saddened by his passing I send my condolences but know this: I’m locked and reloaded in the event he has any friends.

You’re doing great on the whole post every day thing. It’s fantastic that you’re back!
Congrats on your great mouse conquest! Hopefully he’s a loner!

You go girl! I admire you much! (And I’m not sad for the little booger one bit!! Wretched things!) I do make my husband handle those kind of tasks though….so you are quite impressive!

Rodents. Yuck. I’m not sure I could have done that all by myself. Very impressive.

Good for you I would have trashed rat & trap all in one. Then went out & buy a new one. I look up to you to do this ALL by yourself. Mice are fine outside but once they enter your house it is all far game (same with snakes).
