If I wasn’t suffering from CHAOS (Can’t Have Anyone Over Syndrome) I might have taken part in BooMama’s Bloggy Tour of Homes But I am, so I won’t.

Our small group (all 42 of us) have been given tickets to Wonderland Park. Fun Fun! Hey girls do you remember the Himilaya, or how about Big Splash? Chris, Amy and I always had fun on the Tilt a Whirl although last time we went with Julie and Chad it made me throw up. Oh, the memories. . .we haven’t been since Kaleb was 3. I’m hoping my stomach is up for it.

So I’ve noticed that everybody has a ticker. So here’s mine.
1st up is a countdown of Pounds to lose. I recently gained 10 pounds (as recently as last August) anyway I now have 8.5 pounds to lose.

Next up is a countdown till the illustrious GentleWhisper comes to see me. You all know GentleWhisper right? She was blogging before blogging was a word.

Lets see what else? Oh yes! School is starting soon. . .

Well I guess that’s all the tickers for now, perhaps I should put one up for Christmas, or maybe Spring Break, I know I know I’ll track my progress with the laundry.

GoodBye House

We closed on our house yesterday! Can you say whoohoo yippie yieaye? The kids did! For months they’ve heard the words “when we sell the house” or “after we sell the house” On the way out of town Kaleb asked if we would stop by and say good bye to our ole house. They hugged the door, hugged the garage and hugged the tree. They blew kisses as we drove away and when we turned the corner Charleigh said “Well, I wonder where God’s taking us now.” .

I haven’t written in a while mainly because I didn’t want to be a whiner and I couldn’t think of anything to say that wouldn’t sound at least a little whiny. Our air conditioner broke again. With temperatures passing 100 degrees our refrigerator conked out as well. I shipped off my Cpap for repair, with it gone I felt a little broken too.

Hope is on the horizon, today is Monday. I love Mondays, they’re like a brand new start. Take today for instance, I’m going to start over on my plan to lose that last 5 pounds, I’m going to eat right, drink 64 ounces of water, and exercise. Right before I do all that I’m going to read my Bible then clean the kitchen, living room and bathroom. Oh, yeah. I’ve got to return those library books, and send a few thank you notes. Then the laundry, oh the Laundry! Ugg. Some time today I need to get Charleigh to make a path through her bedroom so we can get to her bathroom and replenish the toilet paper. Oh, Marvelous Monday! If plans don’t work out and all I accomplish is reading my Bible and vacuuming the living room. If the piles of laundry only shrink a little and the dirty dishes magically reappear as soon as I do them, I won’t despair, after all tomorrow is Terrific Tuesday!
