Let me introduce three of Joshua’s closest friends: “Genius the Pig”, “Michael the Little Boy” and “Josue the Bear”.
These four stay pretty busy so it’s rare to catch them all in the same picture. Here they are taking a short nap.

I’ve been sick all day and it seems to be getting worse. Do you think it has anything to do with the half a bag of spinach I ate yesterday or is it possibly just a stomach bug. Hmmm. . .either way I’m throwing the rest out. Meanwhile I think I’ll put off sharing with you the yummy Spinach Basil Pesto recipe I made yesterday. I guess I better throw that out too. What a complete waste of perfecty good basil!
Wednesday night was Crazy Hair Night at church. Here’s our entries:

good‧ness  /ˈgʊdnɪs/ Pronunciation[good-nis]
1. the state or quality of being good.
2. moral excellence; virtue.
3. kindly feeling; kindness; generosity.
4. excellence of quality: goodness of workmanship.
5. the best part of anything; essence; strength.
6. a euphemism for God: Thank goodness!
7. –interjection (used in expressions of surprise, alarm, etc.): Goodness, you gave me a start! Goodness gracious!
A word heard often from GentleWhisper.
What word/phrase do I use most often?
Here’s what we’re reading now. I’ve only read the first two chapters of this John Bevere book but I’m recommending you get it now. Sarah I think you need to do this for book club. It comes so highly recommended from Brian and Michelle Good it seems they can’t talk about it with out either jumping up and down or getting goose bumps. What I’ve read so far is definately meeting expectations.
On September 7, 2006, second grade up to sixth grade went on a field trip. First we went to theGlobe News Center. The author of Hank the Cowdog books sang some Hank the Cowdog songs and talked to all the people in the room. The room is big.
The author of Hank the Cowdog read a Hank the Cowdog book to the people in the
room. Next we went to the park and played for a little while. I played space
ship. When I was done it was time for lunch. Mrs. Davis helped me cross the
road to get my lunch box. I ate my lunch and started to swing. After a while
MS. Cook called some grades to pick up trash. When we were done we went to the
zoo. My favorite animal was the Spider Monkey. We say turtles, grey foxes and some black bears. After we got done we come back to school.
That was a fun day.
Here’s what I’ve been drinking all day. Refreshing Iced Mint Green
Tea.
Brew a strong cup of green tea adding a sprig of mint in with the hot water. Pour over ice and add a squeeze of lemon. Sweeten to taste. (I use one packet of Splenda, anyone surprised?)
It’s such a beautiful day here in the Texas Panhandle, take your drink out into the back yard and enjoy a moment of sweet silence. If you can’t arrange the silence and the beautiful
scenery try this drink anyway and enjoy that sweet moment next to your closest pile of laundry.
