That’s it. That’s all I have to say. It hurts. Yep. . .It hurts. It’s been hurting for over 2 weeks now. I’m beginning to get a bad attitude about the whole thing. Could you please pray about that for me? I meant pray for my stomach but it wouldn’t hurt if you prayed for the attitude as well. Thanks.

Some of you may have noticed that NBC is now airing Veggie-tales on Saturday Mornings. There’s been a lot of controversy on the editing choices. I’ve heard a bit of badmouthing of Mr. Phil Vischer for “selling out”. Not true. I recommend before placing judgement that people would first learn the facts. Another picture stolen off Dad’s computer.

I saw this picture flash by on Dad’s screen saver. I didn’t think we’d had a family picture in a few years. Apparently he got us all to sit down long enough to get this picture last Christmas. Doesn’t Kaleb look young? Man, my hair was short!

This morning before missing the bus we had a grand adventure! Kaleb and Charleigh woke up early and packed 5 Chinese Bibles into 5 little envelopes. They slowly attached little address lables printed in an exciting foreign language. They took turns praying for each package, they prayed the Bibles would quickly make their way to China, they prayed the receipients would be kept safe and would learn of God’s love. Then they prayed for the persecuted Christians of China. Finally they stuffed the Bibles into a larger envelope to send to the remailing center. We drove down to the mailbox while it was still dark and sent the little Bibles on there way.
Some how the dark made the whole episode a lot more dramatic! The kids were so excited to be “Bible smugglers”!

A lot of good blog worthy stuff has been going on around here! Only problem being that it’s been happening to my dear family and I don’t feel right parading there embarrassing moments here for you to laugh at. Of course if you wanted to call me then maybe. . .

Kurt got his wisdom teeth out yesterday. He is recovering fantastically, he’s even back to work today. OH, but let me tell you funny things happen when you take a semi-sedated husband into Walmart! Funny, funny things. . .

Last night we attended the Variety Show at Kaleb and Charleigh’s school. Wow, was their a “variety” of talents. Charleigh performed with the High School Cheerleaders which I’m sure you already know was a really Really big deal. Later she sang two songs with the rest of her class. She did good, Kaleb and Joshua were really proud. The next hour or so was filled with entertainment. Only a few moments that made you hide your head in embarrassment for the person on stage. All in all the show reminded me of something they might air on Fox.

Here’s a pic of Charleigh’s Tea Party and yes it’s the only picture I got. Somehow I was slacking on the photography part of the party. Charleigh asked for a “grown uppy” birthday party this year. The girls arrived around 3pm on Sunday then changed clothes into fabulously fancy dresses that our Pastor’s wife sent along. After changing clothes they paraded their outfits on stage in an impromptu fashion show. They then settled down for a spot of tea or cocoa and a few cupcakes, cream puffs and sugared grapes. It was pretty amusing watching all these little girls acting so “proper”! After the tea they opened presents then went back to dancing and showing off their beautiful dresses. All in all it was a great party. Kurt’s parents surprised us with their visit which really topped the whole day off for Charleigh! Later that evening she told me that while she had fun she thinks next year she’ll just invite one or two girls. She says if you get to many girls together things “just get to emotional”.

Dad had his camera with him, I need to check his pictures and see if there are any better ones. I can’t believe that in the one picture I took I cut off the birthday girl’s face.
