I'm so completely thrilled to hear that she is safe now! What a smart and brave little girl to escape that way. It's important that we keep talking to our kids about what to do if we are abducted. I took my son to escape school where we learned lots of tricks about how to avoid abduction and how to get away if we are abducted. A few ideas... One little girl avoided abduction by wrapping her legs around the frame of her bicycle...the guy couldn't get them both into the car. A button can be inserted into the ignition if the perpetrator takes the keys out to go inside a public place. Believe it or not, this happens. The tail lights can be disabled from inside the trunk. Sometimes (like this time maybe) the trunk can be opened from inside. When sitting in traffic, you can punch the accelerator to make the driver ram another car. This will get someones attention.
