1 month 3 weeks 2 days

I turn 30 in 1 month 3 weeks and 2 days. I’m fine with that, I don’t mind being slightly older so long as I can be slightly lighter when I get there. I want to start this next decade out healthier and well yes to be honest a little skinnier. I’ve set a modest goal. I won’t tell you the exact weight I’m shooting for cause I don’t want the comments. When ever I tell someone my goal weight I generally get one of two responses. The lighter folks think I’m not shooting low enough and the heavier gals think I should be happy where I am. Instead I am posting the desired poundage loss as well as the previous, current and goal BMI.

I know this holds little if no interest to you, but this after all is my site and I thought the visual would help motivate me. So here goes, I’ve got 1 month 3 weeks 2 days to lose a measly 6.8 pounds. Seems pretty attainable don’t you think? I do. See already I feel better about the whole thing.

Update: I’m going to post in the comments everything I eat each day. That way if I eat 22 0reos I’ll have to deal with the fact that someone somewhere may find out. 4yrs ago on Amy’s Chic Chat message board I did this and lost 20 lbs.

2-16-07

8oz water
2 eggs
1 slice Canadian Bacon
1 oz 2% Reduced fat cheese
1/2 whole wheat pita
1 cup coffee w/ 1/4 cup Chocolate Calorie Countdown

8oz water
Lowfat String Cheese

diet coke with the juice of one lime

boneless, skinless chicken breast with chipotle tomatoes and mushrooms wrapped in a FlatOut whole wheat tortilla with some of that 2% cheese and 1-2 TB or low fat sourcream
Spinach Romain Salad. a little ranch dressing

(If I hadn’t said I was going to write this down I would have had a leftover hot dog smeared with nacho cheese sauce and a side of V-Day Chocolate. The fear of condemnation drove me to cook something instead.)

For supper I made a Mexican Lasagna. It was for a pot luck, Kaleb and I got sick so I ended up staying home and eating 3 bowls of Kashi mini wheats instead

Thanks for not telling me your goal weight. The “skinny” girls around here are always complaining about how they weighed 105 when they graduated high school and how terrible it is that they won’t ever weigh that again. It makes me feel completely worthless. Honestly.

Luckily, my husband never ceases to remind me how beautiful he thinks I am!

Nicole, you are beautiful! You also have a fabulous husband.

Kurt always gets irked at me if I complain about my weight. It’s not necessarily the weight that bothers me it’s the distribution of said weight. 3 pounds gained goes directly to my stomach and adds an extra jean size.

goooooo Jami you can do it. I have lost 4lbs, and only have 20 to go till I hit my 10%. I’m going for the short goals. 106 lbs seems so far away. But, we can both do it.

Go Julie!
Today was one of those days where you want to pretend you never said you were going to write down everything you eat.

It started out ok:
2 eggs
1 slice Canadian bacon
sprinkle of reduced fat cheese

then I made cinnamon rolls for the rest of the family, I never make them and I didn’t think it would be a temptation.

There were quite a few left over and somewhere before lunch I ate two of them.

For lunch I had two pieces of the left over Mexican lasagna…..and a cinnamon roll

I also had a cup of coffee and a bunch of ice tea through out the day…and a few more pinches of cinnamon roll.

For supper we had a catered chuck wagon meal complete with chicken fried steak, potatoes and green beans. I then came home and ate two dark chocolate truffles. I think I’ll call it a day…except theres one more cinnamon roll left on the counter. Someone stop me please!

Ok, lets see. Sunday…what did I eat? What didn’t I eat? Speaking of that doesn’t it count? I mean what I didn’t eat doesn’t that count?

For breakfast
I did eat a low fat string cheese stick. I didn’t eat a donut at church.
In between services I found 3 little kids eating Oreos in the hall. I didn’t take their Oreos and I didn’t ask where they got them. I just turned my head and pretended I did see them.

For lunch
I did eat a salad and 3 pieces of pizza at Mazzios
I didn’t eat 5 pieces and I didn’t have chocolate chip desert pizza

At Hope’s Baby shower
I didn’t eat any of the various cakes available and I didn’t drink the punch.
I did have water.

For Supper I did eat 3 tacos from taco bell
I didn’t enjoy them
I did have a diet pepsi

That night I did eat two little pieces of chocolate, I didn’t eat all of it.

I did eat something else but I don’t remember what it was.
