Thanks Hillery!

I'm on my way to Amarillo to buy some groceries. Since Kurt is hypoglycemic I have 13 yrs experience cooking for this diagnoses. This new no milk and possibly no eggs or wheat concept was a bit overwhelming at first. Well. . .it's still a bit overwhelming. I'm on my way to Eat-Rite. I've been told they have a great selection and that they are quite helpful. Thanks so much for the prayers and help. If I get too stuck or too emotional I'll call ya.

Hi Jamie.

Amy talked to me today and told me about the other results from blood tests that you received today.

I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia in high school. I've been there and done that, it is possible! I also have a little boy with food allergies. He originally was allergic to dairy, soy, beef and peanuts. Now it is just soy and dairy that are the primary concerns. So I have walked in it and had a child that worried me!

If you are interested in talking and if you need some resources, please email me, I would love to help in anyway that I can!

BTW, a quick breakfast idea for her would be something like rice chex or rice crispies with rice milk, she would also need some protein with this. The ZONE diet is a low glycemic index diet and may help you understand how to best prepare meals and snacks along with giving you a list of good foods for her.

I'll be praying fo you.

I'm so glad Charleigh is not going to have to get shots. That's rough for a little kid. I'll be praying for her and the rest of y'all with the new diet. You sound like an incredible mom. Must be a family trait. :)
